It is convenient to travel on long distances by rail. The fastest and most comfortable are Intercity trains that connect major cities of the country. There are also other trains - night, passenger, regional, which will take you to almost any city in Ukraine.
Everyone chooses the most convenient way to travel - someone finds public transport more comfortable, while others do not want to depend on schedules and routes and choose travel by car. If you belong to the second category, be prepared for Ukrainian roads: in small towns and villages they leave much to be desired. But in the big cities and on highways connecting regional centers such problems are much less.
